I was looking at jewelry the other day and came across some claddagh rings, and was very fascinated by them. I did some brief Google research and found 3 different meanings behind the claddagh ring: "I gave you my heart and crowd it with my love", "love, friendship, and loyalty." and then my favorite (which is written on my art) "let love and friendship reign". I like that one the best.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. either way. very nice image.. throughout my childhood, my father stressed the "friendship, love and loyalty" symbolism of the claddaugh. He taught my sister and myself that those three principles are the most important parts of life and that if you maintain a healthy balance of the three life is much more fulfilling.
